Meditation Monday Meditators and Table Tilting? What Is That?

You've read about my Meditation Monday group over the years. It's still ongoing ... and so much fun! Now commonly known amongst the members as the "Meditation Plus" group, we've been experimenting with all kinds of fun things. Weekly meditations of course but also psychic and card readings, Mediumship, ribbon readings, meeting our Spirit Guides, and the list goes on and on and on .... but perhaps the most impressive exercise to date has been our experiments with Table Tilting.

So what is Table Tilting you ask? Wikipedia defines it as: Table-turning (also known as table-tapping, table-tipping or table-tilting) is a type of séance in which participants sit around a table, place their hands on it, and wait for rotations and Webster’s defines it as: Table tipping: the lifting or manipulation of a table during a séance attributed to the agency of spirits. I define it as Spirit moving a table around a room. I first came across this with my mentor Tammy Taylor and then again at Arthur Findlay College in England when I took a Mediumship course there. I have had numerous additional experiences with it over the last couple of years when my mentor from Arthur Findlay, Val Williams, has taught classes here. It has always been an awe inspiring event.

The first time the Meditation group did it, two of us sat with our hands on the table – the one you see in the picture – and it started to move around the room. It visited each member saying hello and even bowed to the group. It took about 10 minutes for the energy to build and the table to start to move and when it did, there was no stopping it! It was very exciting! I wish I could have captured the looks on faces when the table went to them! The second time we did it, I also received messages from the deceased loved ones of a couple of members. It was very moving.

We are always trying new things and having new experiences. Why not join us? Who knows what will happen at the next Meditation Monday! I hope to see you there!
